. . . WeCount! hosts Occupational Safety and Health Retreat. Several member groups of the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) gathered at WeCount! on January 13-15, 2012, for "train-the-trainer" workshops in preparation for providing occupational safety and health workshops for day laborers. This will be the second year of the program, which is supported by the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration of the US Department of Labor. WeCount! receives additional funding from Miami-Dade County to provide rights and leadership workshops for immigrant workers.
